Job description:
• To Provide a local interface and support on serial life projects between Company and customer.
• Build up close working/personal relationship to the decision makers within customer organisation (e.g. Hardware and Calibration teams
• Understand Company and customer processes, recognise potential blocking points for releases and find ways to proceed.
• Organise and support vehicle/dyno test activities at customer locations as required.
• Review of Company and Customer test results.
• Follow up and track Customer agreed test work, including review and relay of results to project teams.
• Handling of parts between Company and Customer.
• Participation, organization and preparation of project meetings with Customer.
• Participating in regular weekly internal Company meetings with Serial life team.
• Participating in Bi-weekly customer Engineering Change meetings.
• Participating in weekly phone call with Company project leader and Customer project Supervisor.
• Support introduction of new engines at customer engine plants (trouble shooting, test procedures, etc).
• Support ongoing Company and Customer NTF (No Trouble Found) program, including visits to Customer facilities.
• Main Company interfaces is Serial Life project leader & project team, main Customer interface is: Customer project supervisor & project team
Overview of Responsibilities
• Main contact between Company plants and customer for quality concerns
• Ensure a timely response and efficient resolution of all ‘0’ Km concerns at engine and vehicle plants such as Jaguar, Land Rover, PSA Volvo, Saarlouis, Valencia, Genk etc .
• Install containment / sorting actions to protect the customer, using agencies when necessary.
• Feedback of analysis results and 8D reports to customer. A
• Attend customer and Company Quality Meetings.
Warranty
• Manage the customer Warranty Return processes
• Including arranging collection and shipment of returns.
• Ensure analysis timescales are met.
• Feedback analysis results and 8D reports to customer.
• Maintain database of all returns / failure modes
• Attend customer and Company Quality meetings.
• Help to resolve any invoicing concerns
Launch Support
Provide launch support in the introduction new components / engines.
Engineering Change Control
Support Company and customer in the introduction of serial life changes.
Arrange line trials.
Obtain approvals for SREA’s Concerns , Alerts , FCR’S etc
Attend change control meetings.

Job Title – Account Manager
Role - Commercial interface between the company and the customer. Responsible for new business acquisition and providing ongoing project support

Key Activities
• Plan and control the sales activities with the customer in the UK and Europe

Experience / Skills

Job Title: UG Design Engineer /Data Coordinator (onsite liaison)

Location: Cologne, Germany / South West England
Detailed Job Description: On site liaison and technical representative
We require the skills of a contract designer to translate Catia V4 component models into UG NX 4. The main translation and remodelling will be completed at the client location;
The on site role initiates in Germany prioritising and extracting Catia V4 models from the heritage database, locking for future updates and sending on.
On receipt of the UG model back from India, the model must be checked to ensure that it fully represents the original model in all aspects, 2D drawing and dimensional tolerances are correct and that the UG model is compliant to Customer guidelines (created and passed over to RLE). The validated and approved model will then be released into the new Model PLM system in SAP.
After 2 months the on site role will revert to the South West in the UK where the project will be completed.
Requirements:
This role requires the flexibility to work between Germany and, UK..
The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of UG NX4 and a preferred basic knowledge of Catia V4.
Data Co-ordinator experience would be an advantage
